The app ID, or the package ID, is a unique identifier for your app’s URL link on the Google Play Store and App Store. Note that this ID cannot be changed once you release a new version on the app builder. In order to publish your Android app on the Google Play Store, you’ll need to pay a one-time registration fee of $25 to create your Google Play Developer Account. For your iOS app, the registration fee for the Apple Developer Account is an annual $99.

For Android, you can share your app’s APK file directly from your website or another source. But keep in mind that users will see security warnings when installing it, since it’s coming from an “unknown source” outside of Google Play.
